Completed project: a 75-inch Samsung QLED mounted in Stouffville
A homeowner in Stouffville had a 75-inch Samsung QLED, an articulating wall mount, and a blank living-room wall with recessed lights and a floor supply vent to work around. A screen that size is heavy and expensive enough that you really do not want to learn the hard way that drywall anchors do not hold. So they called us.
The scope of work
We found and marked the studs, confirmed them, and bolted the articulating bracket into solid framing — checked dead level before the TV ever went up. On an arm mount, an extended screen acts like a long lever, pulling hard on the top anchors, so the bracket has to bite into studs, not just drywall. We routed the cables down to the outlet and kept the run clear of the floor vent so nothing dangles.
The result
Centred, level and easy to angle wherever the room needs it — the whole job about an hour, most of it spent getting the layout and anchoring right. That is the part that keeps a big screen on the wall.
