VOL HANDYMAN — INDEPENDENT SERVICE PROVIDER AGREEMENT Version v1-2026-05 By signing below, you ("Provider") agree to the following terms with VOL Handyman ("Platform") for providing services to clients introduced through the Platform. 1. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of the Platform. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, equipment, and compliance with all applicable laws. 2. PLATFORM COMMISSION The Platform retains a service commission of fifteen percent (15%) of the gross amount paid by the client for each job booked through the Platform. The remaining 85% is remitted to you according to the Platform's standard payment schedule. 3. PAYMENTS THROUGH THE PLATFORM All payments for services introduced by the Platform must be processed through the Platform. You agree NOT to accept cash, e-transfer, or any off-platform payment from clients for jobs originated on the Platform. Violation may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of pending payouts. 4. NO OFF-PLATFORM CONTACT You agree not to solicit Platform clients to work with you outside the Platform for a period of twelve (12) months after your last job with that client. Sharing personal contact information for off-platform work is prohibited. 5. QUALITY & CONDUCT You agree to perform all services professionally, on time, and to industry standards. You will treat clients and their property with respect. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account for poor reviews, no-shows, unprofessional conduct, or breach of this agreement. 6. LIABILITY You acknowledge that you perform services at your own risk and assume full responsibility for any damage to client property or personal injury arising from your work. The Platform is a venue only and is not liable for any claims arising from work you perform. You agree to indemnify and hold the Platform harmless from any third-party claims related to your services. 7. CONFIDENTIALITY Client contact information, addresses, and job details disclosed through the Platform are confidential. You may use this information only to perform the booked job and not for marketing, resale, or any other purpose. 8. STUDENTS — AGE REQUIREMENT If you are registering as a Student Provider, you confirm that you are at least sixteen (16) years of age and have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. If under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has reviewed these terms with you. 9. INSURANCE Pro Providers (non-student) are expected to carry their own general liability insurance and any trade-specific licensing required by law. Students performing light residential tasks (lawn, snow, car wash, garbage, etc.) are covered by the Platform's basic liability policy for jobs booked through the Platform, subject to policy terms. 10. TERMINATION Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, for any reason, with written notice. Outstanding completed work will be paid out according to the standard schedule. Pending or accepted jobs at the time of termination must be completed or formally released. 11. ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE You agree that typing your full legal name and checking the confirmation box below constitutes a legally binding electronic signature equivalent to a handwritten signature. 12. GOVERNING LAW This agreement is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario. By signing below, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all terms of this agreement.
